DRYDEN — Quicker passport services will now be available in Dryden.
Service Canada on Wednesday announced that its 10-day passport service will be expanded to Dryden.
The service, which was also expanded to Timmins, will now be available in six locations across Ontario, though Dryden is the only one in Northwestern Ontario.
Service Canada said the locations allow people to apply for a passport and pick it up in 10 business days, which is half of its regular service standard of 20 business days.
For passports required in less than 10 business days, people need to go to an office that offers express or urgent pick-up.
