Notice of Application for Approval to Expropriate Land

IN THE MATTER OF an application by The Corporation of the Township of Ramara for the approval to expropriate those lands being Lots 27 and 28 Plan 264 former Township of Mara, County of Simcoe, for the purpose of providing an Easement for use by the general public to access public lands.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that application has been made for approval to expropriate the land described as follows:

All right, title and interest to an Easement on and over those lands being:

Lots 27 and 28, Plan 264
Geographic Township of Mara
Township of Ramara
County of Simcoe
Being all of PIN: 58691-0165 (LT), comprising of an area of approximately 0.13 ha

For the purposes of providing an Easement for use by the general public to access Public Lands.

Any owner of lands in respect of which notice who desires an inquiry into whether the taking of such land is fair, sound and reasonably necessary in the achievement of the objectives of the expropriating authority shall notify the approving authority in writing,

1. in the case of registered owner, served personally or by registered mail within thirty (30) days after the registered owner is served with the notice, or, when the registered owner is served by publication, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice;
    
2. in the case of an owner who is not a registered owner, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice.

The approving authority is The Corporation of the Township of Ramara, 2297 Hwy 12, PO Box 130, Brechin, ON L0K 1B0.

Plans showing the affected lands are available for review in the Clerk’s Office, at the address below, during regular business hours.
