🐝As part of their Unit of Inquiry on sharing the planet, students walked to a nearby park to explore their natural surroundings and hopefully spot a few buzzing bees in action. Along the way, they discovered a giant tree stump and wondered just how old the tree might have been—counting rings and asking questions with curious minds.
🍃Once at the creek, the group sat quietly, tuning into the sounds of flowing water, rustling leaves, and chirping birds. It was a peaceful, mindful moment that reminded us how much nature has to teach.
✨This hands-on learning experience helped connect classroom ideas to the real world—and gave our students a chance to slow down, explore, and observe with wonder.
